Writing with a sexy co-author definitely has its perks. The main one being it's hard to get bored when you're writing out hot, sexy, scenes with a gorgeous man. Karl Jones and I met on facebook and it was just great chemistry from the beginning. Since most of my family is also on facebook, you can imagine some of the remarks we were getting when we started writing out lines from the book, 10 Nights. Not even coffee wakes you up as fast as getting a message like “Please, Sir, I need you, I need to feel you inside of me. I want you to take me now.”
Yes it's a line from the book, but talk about a wake up call. This has been the singular most erotic writing of my life and I still hope when this book is published I'm allowed to live in Alabama. Before Karl, I have to admit I didn't think men could write erotica in a way that a woman could relate to. I've been taught a valuable lesson, never judge! Granted 10 Nights uses language that in the past I might not have found sexy, but I'm discovering, just like I hope readers will, that some words just need to be said in the context they are meant to be used for.
When you try to bring out the hottest ten sex fantasies that women have, you get this incredible ability to slip into your own mind and discover what really turns you on. What I found were a few situations that truly made me question my own thoughts about sexuality. Just as Leah is taught by Rhett in the book, I've learned much about myself thanks to Karl's additions. It's definitely been a hot ride! And I have to say learning has never been this much fun.
Readers will get an interesting look into the way the female and male minds work when it comes to sexuality in 10 Nights. I think what really makes this book a sensual journey is the fact that you've got both sexes sharing insight into what they are feeling and thinking at the time.
