Mothers Day 2012

There were two ladies that influenced me growing up, my wonderful mom and granny.  This picture takes me back to a happier time and place in my life.  Granny left us, but her memory will always live on.  This Mother's Day remember that we're not always promised tomorrow, so tell those that you love just how much you care for them before it's too late.  When you look back ten or twenty years from now, it's memories like these that will stand out the most.  Not the great job, or the horrible one but people that influenced you and encouraged you to be better than you thought you could be.

Mom, I hope you know how much I love you and appreciate all the sacrifices you made for me over the years.  I didn't always appreciate the things you did then, but I do now.  Amazing how each year that goes by you understand more clearly how those people in your life that love you, only want the best for you.  I know if Granny were here today she'd tell us both I told you so.

No matter what has happened in your life, remember that your mother gave you life.  Take this one special day during the year and tell her how thankful you are.  If life has pulled you away from your mom, make the effort this Mother's Day to bridge the gap.  You only have one mother, and time is not always willing for you to wake up and realize that.

I dedicated this blog post to my beautiful mother Susan Hall!  Thank you for everything you've done for me over the years.  I've definitely been stubborn, headstrong, bullheaded, selfish and a pain in the tush more times then I care to admit over the years, but you never lost hope in me.  Not many people in my life can I say that about!  I love you MOM!

Mother's Day is May 13,2012
