December 21, 2012 Thoughts
Does anyone ever wonder if perhaps the Mayan's just got tired of doing a calender after 2012? If not and some planet is going to collide with Earth, maybe at least the Alien's will be hot and we won't really care much anyway? Did I mention that's my wedding anniversary? I might be a tad upset if I don't get my gift! In all seriousness though, I believe personally this is just another Millenimum type scare and that people need to stop worrying about when we're going to die and enjoy being alive.
If by some chance I'm wrong you can say I told you so December 22, oh wait we won't be alive, scratch that. I'm sure my family will be pretty upset that they didn't get to open their Christmas gifts. If you're going to schedule the end of the world, couldn't you at least do it AFTER the holiday? I mean honestly what were these Mayan people thinking?
To be honest I'm surprised kids all over the world haven't used this as an excuse to open their gifts early. If I was a kid, you can sure bet I'd be playing this one to the hilt. I could have definitely saved a lot of money if they'd have ended the world before Thanksgiving, so thanks for nothing Mayan Folks!
Nasa has said the world is not ending, I mean come on if the space people don't think a planet is about to bump into ours, should we really be worried? And if you're a Christian, the bible plainly tells us that no man will know when the end is coming. So science and religion both agree that December 21,2012 isn't the last day for Earth. Wait, now I am a little worried! Do science and religion ever agree on anything?
I haven't talked to friends in the Wiccan community, but I do remember that December 21st is the Winter Solstice, not sure what that has to do with anything, but thought I'd throw it out there. We made it through the 2000 scare, and can't forget that thing back in ... was it 1996 or 1998 with the comet? I think we'll all make it out just fine, and if we don't, well it was nice knowing you!
For those of us that plan on enjoying the Holiday Season, and not worrying about the end of the world, all my warmest wishes to you and your families! Remember tis the season to give, so I'm asking that you guys remember Toys for Tots, a great organization that helps bring Christmas to those that have so little!

The True Gift of the Season
What one gift can you give to the person who has everything? This holiday season why not give the one gift that matters most to that person who holds your heart? Material things fade away, but a promise from the heart is eternal. So if you're looking for a gift that will truly matter, then consider what your partner has longed for the most. If you don't know his or her deepest calling of the heart, then this would be the time to discover it. Most of us love material things, and think that we can't live without certain ones, but at the end of the day the heart and soul crave the thing money can't buy, love.
This year, even if you can afford to give your partner all the material things their heart desires, try giving them the priceless gift of discovering their hearts desire. If times have been hard and you don't have a lot to give monentarily, then what better gift than one that is delivered without a price tag? We may not say that we need to feel loved more than anything else, but that is just a lie that the mind accepts to make us able to live with what we have. If you are willing to humble yourself for your partner, then you have the basis for a great relationship. Being selfish and only considering your own needs has never won the heart of another. So look into yourself and decide what it is that you can offer that could change your partners life in a positive way.
For those of you that celebrate Christmas, you still have 14 days to discover what could change your partners way of thinking about you forever. You know there is something they have longed for mentally that you've been unable to give them. Maybe you had to much pride, or felt you would seem weak in their eyes if you admitted your feelings, or maybe you've been so wrapped up in your own needs that your partners needs were coming second. This is a beautiful time of year to change that and make a life-long commitment to his or her happiness.
Last night I had a dream that there was one person out there that knew they needed to do the right thing, but kept putting it off. I write this blog post today in hopes that the person reads this and decides to follow their heart. It's a season of love, hope, and dreams coming true, so take the time to share all those things with the person you love the most. Have a very Merry Christmas!

Out of this world passion!
Not really sure why my mind decided I needed to write a book about Alien Seduction, but I rarely get the opportunity to decide what I want to write. This is a tentative cover of the new book in progress, I'll throw it out there for the friends of Tears of Crimson, and take any constructive criticism you'd like to offer.
At the moment I'm working on the Crimson Farewell, the last book in the Tears of Crimson series (yes it's breaking my heart) and this new book Allure of a Dream Warrior, and bouncing back and forth as the ideas find me. With everything that has happened this month in my personal life, I feel almost obsessed with getting new works out. We are also working really hard to get the editing completed on the second 10 Nights Book, Beyond 10 Nights, since we had to push back the release date to January 1st.
I know the blog has gotten a lot more personal this month, and that's because all my creative efforts are being spent on the books. December is a very tough time for me during a normal year with children being home full-time, with the addition of my little's mans surgery and my daughters illness, it has been even more chaotic. After the new year I will try my best to get back to the entertaining posts from guest authors, and bring back in the leading men and ladies of Tears of Crimson.
I really don't like not posting every week, because this is how I keep in touch with all my incredible friends, so know that I'm not avoiding any of you, just trying to keep what little sanity I have left! I'm sure you've noticed I've had to almost stop posting on Twitter and Facebook as well. Unfortunately until things calm down in my personal life I don't see that changing. I've marked down the first 10 Nights book to 99 cents on Amazon for anyone that hasn't had a chance to read it yet. I've been really happy with how well it was recieved and would like to thank all of you for helping to spread the word.
So on Allure of a Dream Warrior: The idea hit me last week and I've written 20,000 words already because it just decided to take over my mind. The premise of the story is about a college student who is haunted by dreams after she suffers a heartbreak that threatens to drown her in a deep depression. Anyone that knows my writing, already gets that my females are always innocent (sorry but I like them that way LOL) and my males are normally dominate alpha males. She discovers that the man haunting her dreams is actually real when he abducts her from her bedroom and the story takes her from Earth to a new world and explores their relationship. That's about all I can reveal right now, but I hope my readers will be willing to take a chance on a new idea of writing since Sci-Fi has never really been my thing! I promise there will be no tentacles hahahah, maybe some unusal appendages, but something about tentacles just turns me off!
I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas if we don't get the chance to talk before then! I'm looking forward to gaining ten pounds that will force me to work my butt off in January to take off LOL! In case you don't know my mom is one of the best cooks in the world, and when she does Christmas Dinner, it's like walking in paradise! Take care of yourself and share the love during this wonderful holiday season.
Much Love,
Michelle

A New Day... A New Daydream
Harnessing the Power of a Positive
Attitude
By: Tammie Clarke Gibbs
I’ve been told I should have been a
motivational speaker. I reply by saying, “I am” because I try to motivate
every time I open my mouth or touch the keyboard with my fingertips. I’ve
been blessed, I guess with a gift that allows me to look past the shallow and
sometimes demanding nature of others and see through to the positive and gifted
person within. I know. We are surrounded by negativity. Open any
newspaper, magazine or online venue and you are bombarded by negative
expressions. It can be very depressing, and it can be very difficult to
rise above the attitude of others. It’s necessary.
Today is a new day. This hour is a
new hour. This minute is a new minute. We are surrounded by newness that we
overlook with frequency. When we wake up in the morning, we should value
the sunrise for what it is “an amazing new opportunity for change.”
The only way that we can achieve
anything is to resolve that we want to. Goal setting is important because it
gives us a framework to hang all our hopes and dreams and a way to measure our
progress. Whether you’re a reader or an author, it doesn’t matter we all have a
basic need for accomplishment, whether it’s a business or personal goal.
There are a few things that no one
controls but us. The major one is attitude. Our attitude is an extremely
personal thing yet it has the power to influence others and essentially cause a
domino effect. How is your attitude affecting your ability to reach your
goals? If a negative attitude could help you achieve even one of your
goals I’d say go on be negative, but it won’t it will only have the opposite
effect. A positive attitude alone may not.
How do you change an attitude and
regain that optimism you once had? Well, take a lesson from childhood and
rediscover the art of DAYDREAMING. Find a quiet place for some alone
time. It could be in your room on your bed, beside a pool or on a pallet
in the woods. Close your eyes and let your mind wander to places that only it
can. Allow the real world to melt away and call upon your inner child because
the child within was never afraid to dream and began life full of
optimism. If you find it difficult the first time, don’t give up because
it’s taken years to develop the attitude you’re wearing. If you’re willing to
change, to recapture the part of you that feeds your self-confidence you
can.
DAYDREAM and learn to use your
imagination again because all the biggest contributions to mankind were first
an idea as small as a grain of sand in someone’s imagination.
If you’re not achieving what you
want to, and you’re not happy with your life the way it is, you owe it to
yourself to try anything that will spark that renewed energy to face the world
again with fresh eyes, a new attitude and effect it in a positive way.
The world around us cannot change
until we change. We can only change the world as one-person changes and
then another and then another.
Without a dream, nothing is
accomplished, but without some work dreams cannot be accomplished. So,
how does one tackle the obstacles between their real-life situation and the
goals their imagination has set for them? By treating them as if they are
something we can achieve.
Here are a few tips:
1. Write your goals down.
2. Research what you will have to do
in order to reach your goals.
3. Then, divide those tasks up and
determine the path to take to achieve each of the minor objectives.
4. Start at the beginning.
Many goals are not reached because of poor planning and a lack of focus.
We all love a short cut but in most cases taking a short cut may prevent you
from reaching an otherwise obtainable goal.
The most important suggestion I can
make to you whatever your goals may be is to “do something.” Don’t just
allow your dreams to fade away. Today is the day to reach for the stars.

Self-Published Authors
Forget about spending 8
Hours a day on promoting your book. For less than a value meal you’ll learn how
to take just 8 hours and invest them in actionable tasks that will pay
dividends into the future. Don’t you owe it to yourself to reclaim your life?
Authors are sick and tired of spending every minute of the day promoting themselves and their books. It doesn’t have to be that way. 8 Hours to Jump Start Your Career: A Step-by-Step Guide for Self-Published Authors shows you how to invest just 8 hours into actionable tasks that will pay dividends into the future freeing you up to do other things. These are not tasks thought up overnight they are the results of over 2 years of research and personal experimentation. I cannot guarantee that it will make you a Bestseller, but many who’ve followed the tasks outlined in the book can now boast that Bestseller status. Spend it with family, go on vacation, or write your next book it’s all up to you. What will you do with all that time you’re going to have?

Dracula ReKindled - Xander Buchan Compels Tears of Crimson
“Good Evening,
Michelle had very kindly asked Xander
Buchan to write this guest post here at Tears of Crimson but he has had a very
busy week with his book launch and has been left quite…drained.
Therefore permit me to introduce myself; I
am your guest Blogger for today. Perhaps there is a slight chance that you have
heard my name before. But I fear it is more than likely drowned out by the
names of a thousand others who stand between me and… you. Who are these others
you ask? They have many names from the mundane to the extravagant: Lestat de
Lioncourt; Blade, Barnabas Collins; Michael; Elizabeth Báthory; Nosferatu;
Spike; Kraven; Edward Cullen *retches* and George Bush.
Sweet children, focus your ears. Amongst
the mob can you hear it? The lone name whispering to you – you alone!? Whilst
the vampire mob clamour for your attention can you hear the sound that acts as
the foundation, the sound of a name that began it all? A name that gives birth
to those that come after, a name that instils terror among each of them and
would see them tear at themselves for fear of meeting me. I am… Dracula.
In 1897, Irish novelist Bram Stoker documented my unsuccessful
attempt to... acquire properties and lands outside my beloved Transylvania.
Stoker’s manuscript was largely forgotten as, one by one, mankind made up its
own vampire stories. Now I’m back, badder than ever… and somewhat bemused to
see what the Vampire has become. I shall come to you, and we shall embrace. The
obstinate sunlight will cast its rays upon my pallid face and you shall look
closely to be sure! You shall see that I do NOT sparkle. The only glimmer you
shall find upon me will be your blood as it spills out from my thirsty, wet
lips.
My new castle is restored to its former
glory and I must have you round as my guest for dinner and drinks. I trust we
shall meet soon; your company will be most precious to me.
Michelle, see that your readers are
provided with directions to my estate. I answer your zeal with my fortune. D”
Amidst the current popularity for pretty vegetarian
vampires, a need has arisen to go back to the basics of horror; Dracula
Rekindled does exactly that. Debut
author Xander Buchan has written in a refreshing and contemporary style that
pays homage to Stoker’s original. This suspenseful follow-up sees the Original
Vampire return to unleash his malevolence upon a fresh population. He’s back
and badder than ever!
Synopsis:
Engaged couple
John and Lucy find their plans delayed by unforeseen events. A Goth student’s
PhD research digs up more than she bargained for, and a renowned Haematologist
discovers his ancestor, Van Helsing, was master of more than just medicine.
Amidst a series
of strange events and horrific discoveries, lands are being bought up in
Scotland; renovation work begins in a quaint coastal village to restore a
medieval castle ruin. Does the prestigious restoration, and its new owner, hold
any connection to the dark events unfolding?
As a dark force
rises, a secret history is uncovered – but could it even be believed? A
desperate hunt for answers leads to the farthest reaches of darkest Europe; has
an ancient foe returned to threaten mankind once more?

Rekindled is available worldwide as both Kindle eBook and traditional 6”x 9”

Author Isabella Sinclair shares Spicy Nights Turkey Enchiladas
Erotic Romance Author Isabella Sinclair shares her favorite dish Spicy Nights Turkey Enchiladas – Servings 6 (Two shells)
As an author of erotica I LOVE all things spicy! With the Thanksgiving holiday almost upon us, now is the time to start devising ways to use up all that yummy leftover turkey! Sandwiches are great – for the first day or so. If you like to enjoy a good enchilada you will devour this recipe!
You will need…
• Turkey
• 1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
• Corn Tortillas
• 8 oz Mozzarella Cheese (grated)
• 8 oz Colby Jack (grated)
• Reg size container Ricotta Cheese
• Coconut Oil (cause I like the exotic flavoring over Olive oil)
First you want to soften your corn shells by heating them in a skillet over med heat using the Coconut Oil. Put a TSP or so of oil in the pan and lay the shell in it. As it heats up it will start change color slightly and/or bubble. Flip the shell over and heat the other side. This will make the stiff shells pliable for filling and wrapping.
After you have your shells all soft and workable you want to grease your casserole dish with a smidge of oil.
In a mixing bowl combine the Turkey, Cream of Mushroom soup, Ricotta cheese, and 2/3 of the grated cheese. Use a small amount of this filling to line your baking dish to keep the shells from sticking and to add flavor all the way around.
Holding the shell in the cup of your palm, scoop approximately two tblsp of filling into the center. Wrap the side together and place in the dish. Using your finger smear a bit of the filling across one edge and overlap the other on top of it. The bit of filling will help keep them sealed together.
All 12 shells may or may not fit into one dish. Just get a smaller one and use it for the leftovers. After you have stuffed your shells you want to take the remaining filling (if there is any!) and spread it over the enchiladas then top with the remaining shredded cheese.
You can cover with aluminum foil – or not. I don’t like to so I leave it topless Bake on 350 degrees for mmmm approximately 30 mins. I cook by smell. If I can smell it – it’s time to take it out! lol You want the top cheese melted and the shells to have a cooked look to them. (edges might be brown and crunchy looking but not overly so)
If you like them HOT add some Chile sauce to your mixture.
Pull them out of the oven and let stand only a few minutes. Top with your favorite Salsa and Sour Cream!
Of course, I can’t eat Spicy Nights Turkey Enchiladas without my fave Mexican beer Dos Equis…because I AM the most interesting woman in the world!
Enjoy!

Enjoy this exert from OLLY...
“I love you as certain dark things are to be loved,
In secret, between the shadow and the soul.”
~ Pablo Neruda
With my hand resting at the top of my breastbone, I took a deep breath to calm my nerves, preparing to exhume several ghosts from a past I had suppressed long ago. I began, “The problem with love is that people often mistake it with several of its closely related cousins.” I paused to gather my scattered thoughts and could see she already had questions, but I held up my hand to keep her from breaking our agreement. “So many people-myself included-mistake lust and obsession for love. While still embodying them, true love is neither of those things, if that makes sense.”
Devin nodded, keeping silent while feverishly jotting down notes.
“In order to appreciate why I fell in love with the man I did, you have to understand how I came to accept the fact that love doesn’t always show up in the most convenient package. Sometimes it pushes all your buttons, makes you doubt yourself and question the core of your beliefs. At a time in my life when love didn’t seem possible, I went hunting for the next best thing...sex.”

Perfect Casting for “Marked for Vengeance"
It’s
funny that the initial idea of selecting a “perfect cast” for my
guest post today appealed to me so much, only because when I write, I
don’t think of one certain person -- famous or not -- that I’ve
seen or known. My characters’ physical attributes are something
that’s conjured completely in the deepest corners of my mind. But
perhaps I ultimately decided upon this topic because I’m also a
huge movie buff. What writer WOULDN’T want their book to play out
on the big screen? And so, without further ado… meet my dream cast
below.
Alyx:
When
searching for each “cast member”, I looked for actors who
embodied the descriptives that I used for each character throughout
the book. For Alyx, she has porcelain skin, raven hair, and round
lips. So when I came across a photo of Julia Voth, I thought, “Wow…
now SHE would be a spectacular Alyx!” Except, she would need to
wear brown contacts, but that’s easily fixable.
I
also like how she emits a sense of purity, but you also feel that
something else might lurk inside, something that tells you there is
more to this girl that what you see. She’s mysterious. Enigmatic.
That’s the essence of Alyx.
Isaac:
What
can I say? Tom Welling has been a not-so-secret crush of mine for
years. As soon as he came onto the scene with “Smallville”, he
captivated me. And while I didn’t picture him when writing Isaac,
it seems plausible that my imagination conjured a similar
forbidden-love interest for Alyx. His hair in this picture fits
Issac’s to the “T”, he’s in his thirties but looks to be in
his twenties, he has light eyes and soft facial features. He embodies
everything Isaac. Just slap an Irish accent on him and cover his
right arm in tattoos, and he’d be perfect for the role!
Micah:
Isaac’s
thirteen-year-old son. I describe him in the book as a shorter clone
of Isaac, so you could just refer to the picture above and shave off
about twenty years physically and mentally. Or maybe this photo of
Chandler Riggs from “The Walking Dead” will do.
Cindra:
Cindra,
oh, Cindra… how much fun you were to write! We’ve all had that
quirky friend that you wouldn’t trade for the world, and I wouldn’t
trade this character for a million others. She’s clumsy, funny, and
a little naïve, but always means well and is perfect as Alyx’s
BFF.
The
actress I chose to play her is Aly Michalka. Yes, her hair is similar
in color and texture, but the real reason I selected her was because
I saw her in the movie “Easy A” with Emma Stone, and I fell in
love with her saucy personality. In my opinion, she could be the only
one to play Cindra.
Benjamin:
Dr.
Benjamin Forbes. He’s Alyx’s boyfriend of a year and adores her
probably more than she deserves. He’s every girl’s dream guy…
successful, handsome, and doting. I saw an episode the other day of
“The Mentalist” and just knew that Simon Baker would be fantastic
for this hypothetical role with his blonde, side swept hair and
meticulously groomed eyebrows. Oh yeah, and that smile…
BOOK
SUMMARY:
“Isaac
was more than just precious to her, he was precious in ways the world
could only fathom. If she failed, she failed everyone.” –Marked
for Vengeance
Alyx Rayer’s existence in Atlanta, the eternally bustling capital of Georgia, is one of routine and blending in among the worker bees. But her ‘normal’ life is actually a façade for a higher calling; she's a three hundred year old soul, encased in a human vessel and sent from the darkness between heaven and Earth to capture her Marked when summoned by her superiors.
During the initial, routine stake-out of her Marked, a dream prophet named Isaac Walsh, Alyx is thrown for an emotional loop when his allure captivates her heart from two rooftops away. The event marks the very instance when her sense of what’s right and what’s wrong is brutally challenged as her contact with him is strictly forbidden.
While already trapped between honor and desire, her emotional struggles are further challenged by a man in a black suit who continually pops up when she least expects it, his presence evoking a strange response from the scar she was branded with at birth. The scar tingles like a warning beacon, alerting her that something is amiss. Because her superiors never told her what this would mean, or much of anything except what to do when they summon, she can only conclude to try and keep her sanity, and her life, from completely shattering to pieces.
This engaging first book of the series is a Paranormal Romance novel interlaced with twists, turns, and thrilling suspense that is sure to satisfy readers of any genre.

About the Author SJ Pierce
S.J.
Pierce has a degree in Marketing Management, works for a Fortune 500
company in Atlanta, Georgia, and devotes her precious, spare time to
writing Fantasy novels as an indie author.
Even though her
full-time career has nothing to do with books at all, she has always
enjoyed complex story telling with fascinating characters, and has
had a penchant for the written word since grade school. As a matter
of fact, her only publishing credit to date was a poem she wrote at
the age of twelve. Why her love for writing never translated into a
career, she can only attribute to 'life happens', but her wish is
that she can redirect her career path into something that satisfies
her creative inner-self.
To quote a line from her debut
novel, Marked for Vengeance; "If he merely lived to work and
die, his soul would always thirst for something more. His paintings
were an escape into the surreal, a way to cope with the humdrum of
everyday life. With every well-placed stroke, he would escape further
into whatever world he envisioned, its atmosphere a temporary break
from reality." This captures her love for writing
flawlessly.

Twilight Breaking Dawn - Coming to an end
On November 16th, the end of the Twilight Saga hits the big screen, and brings closure to one of the most talked about Vampire books and shows of our lifetime. Regardless of liking or hating this phenomenon, Meyers changed the world with her view of vampires. We will be doing our review of the final movie Saturday on Tears of Crimson. We decided to prolong our review to not give spoilers away before our readers had the opportunity to watch for themselves.
Meyers released her book series for a young adult audience, but it quickly became a favorite of many adults as well, even sparking off the hit book of 2012, Fifty Shades of Grey. We at Tears of Crimson are anxiously awaiting news from Stephanie Meyers on her thoughts about Breaking Dawn, and will be keeping our eyes on her website for that information. For those of you who don't know, Meyers wrote Twilight from a dream, sound familiar? Those vampires love making their way into dreams obviously since that's also how the Tears of Crimson Vampire Series started!
At Tears of Crimson we are split between team Jacob and team Edward, so we are looking forward to seeing Jacob finally find happiness too. The Volturi fight scene is one we are anticipating greatly, and we can't wait to see how they pull this one off! Twilight will long live on in our minds after the final show. It's been an incredible adventure and from all of us at Tears of Crimson, thank you Mrs. Meyers, for giving us a glimpse into your vampire world.

Spicing Up Your Sexual Relationship
Being in a relationship for a long period of time, there's normally a point when things seem to get a little dull in the bedroom. Now we're not saying you need to get as creative as we did in 10 Nights, of course if you and your partner feel compelled, by all means don't let us stop you, but a little creativeness might be just the thing to heat up your nights!
You know your partner better than anyone, at least if you're sharing a bed we're going to hope you do! That being said, always take into account his or her comfortability in sexual relations before embarking on any new type of sexual play. The ideas we're going to share with you are a watered down version of the sex scenes in 10 Nights, but like we said earlier if you want to go for the gusto, have at it.
During Leah's first night of intiation, Rhett asked her to dance for him. Now this can be done for either a male or a female, and just think of how erotic your partner will find it to have a private dance! Obviously you want a little privacy for this one, unless you're a voyeur which is fine with us, but if you're a little more shy get your lover somewhere alone and turn on some sexy music and rock his or her world. The first time you try to do a sensual dance for your partner can be a little intimidating, but remember he or she wouldn't be with you if they didn't enjoy you sexually (at least we hope not). Dancing for your partner can be a great way to overcome your inhibitions as well, if you have them and if you don't well kudos to you!
Roleplay anyone? During one of Leah's nights, Rhett dresses up as a vampire hell bent on seducing his innocent victim. We think this was one of the hottest scenes in the book, and it's something that with a little creativity any person should be able to pull off in the bedroom. Most people have some fantasy that you can play out, and you know what shows or books your partner loves best. Take a scene from one of his or her favorites and bring it to life in the bedroom. If you really don't know what they like, drop subtle questions the week before you decide to venutre into your sexual roleplay night to discover what would really rock their world. This idea could turn into some really adventuresome nights together and might even become one of the favorite ideas.
So what about a little voyeurism? We're not suggesting you attempt the dress shop scene from 10 Nights, again unless you just really want to go that far. But having a night out where you take her shopping (sorry guys this one works better for the ladies we think) and encourage her to model your favorite outfits can be a really steamy idea. Ladies this also helps you discover what your partner enjoys seeing you wear!
To make this a sensual experience, men you need to stand outside the dressing room and get your lady to come out and model each of the outfits for you that you've chosen. Remember gentleman, you know your partner well, so if she's not comfortable in a bathing suit at the beach, she's probably not going to be really into modeling lingerie in public, so consider that before you decide on clothing choices.
While Leah and Rhett had a little sexy in the dressing room after they both got turned on from the experiences, there are laws against that so we recommend taking it home or to a hotel after your little fun with shopping. Dressing your lady and remembering to tell her how sexy she looks wearing your choices, can be a hot experience!
A little playful bondage doesn't mean you have to show up at the next BDSM conference and can be a sensual experience if you take time to research and know your partners limitations. For some women and men having their hands bound and/or their vision impaired gives them a sense of being able to enjoy things that they might feel uncomfortable with if they had to actually say it out loud. Let us make a huge statement here before you try this, if your partner says no and really means it, be understanding and don't push the issue! Some people don't enjoy having their movements restricted and the last thing you want is a partner who's ready to kick you to the curb because you didn't respect their boundaries.
That being said, talk to your partner and calmly suggest that you'd like to enjoy a sensual night and bind their wrists or blindfold them. Explain to them that if at any time they feel uncomfortable they can tell you to stop and you will. The biggest thing about this sexual fantasy is knowing that you can trust the person who is in control. Being tied down or blindfolded for the first time can be an exciting yet overwhelming feeling for some people, so give reassurance the entire time. Making love this way is a huge turn on for some people and if you find you both enjoy it, then by all means experiment more!
A healthy relationship is always about being able to talk to your partner honestly without fear of being judged. Even in the vanilla world (a relationship without BDSM), safe, sane, and consensual should be three words that are involved in your sex life. Respect each other and explore the beauty of your passion.
10 Nights was written as a hard-core version of the BDSM lifestyle and is not something we recommend for beginners. In reality taking a virgin into scenes that intense would be unheard of, hence the category of fiction for the book. Some of the scenes in 10 Nights are advanced for even moderate players in the community. While they make great fiction, we don't encourage novices or anyone without a long term understanding of BDSM to even attempt some of the scenes involved.
We wanted to shock readers with a glance into the world of BDSM with 10 Nights. It was written for mature readers and shouldn't be read by any one under 18 or whatever age is legal in the country where you live. Rhett is what we would lable as an extreme Alpha Male Dominant, and while there are certainly those types of Dominants out there, they are not the norm.
